Sharpie Y2K Theme Packs
These two concepts were done for Sharpie’s 2023 Y2K pack. Color trends change every few years making older theme packs become outdated. This opens an opportunity to boost Sharpie assorted pack sales every few years with a new, exciting, and on-trend color assortment.
The focus of this project was to tap into the current trend that harkens back to the early 2000s which is very popular among Gen Z consumers. The themes that were discovered were warm, bright colors, outlined and layered type, and an overall youthful, techy, and futuristic look. The below concepts focus on the nostalgic, bright, and fun energy of the early 2000s.
Sharpie E-Commerce Illustrations
These illustrations were done for Sharpie’s E-Commerce presence. The focus of this was to create illustrations using the new Sharpie dual brush tip markers. The goal was to showcase all of the techniques the consumer can achieve through drawing different house plants and foliage, therefore they were photographed in a creative environment featuring many house plants.
Sharpie Vintage Inspired Pack
This project’s purpose was to create vintage-looking packaging that would appeal to Gen Z consumers in Latin America. The marketing and brand team asked that the designs be influenced by both American vintage patterns and Latin American patterns. The below concepts explore modular mid-century shapes as well as Latin American folk art patterns.
